📱 Your Privacy Matters: CertGPS is designed with privacy at its core. You can use the app without signing in - all data stays on your device. Optionally sign in to sync favorites across devices.
Account & Authentication (Optional)
You can optionally sign in using Apple, Google, or GitHub to enable cloud sync for your favorites. When you sign in, we collect:
- Email address: Used to identify your account
- Display name: Shown in your profile (from your sign-in provider)
- Favorites list: Synced to Firebase Cloud Firestore for cross-device access
Without Signing In
- No account required: Use all core features without creating an account
- Local storage only: Your favorites are stored on your device
- No tracking: We don't track which certifications you view
Data Storage
Certification information and articles are bundled with the app. Your preferences are stored locally. If signed in, your favorites are also synced to Firebase (Google Cloud).
- Local data is deleted when you uninstall the app
- Cloud data can be deleted by contacting us at [email protected]
- You can sign out anytime to stop cloud sync
Third-Party Services
When signed in, we use Firebase services (provided by Google) for authentication and data storage. See Firebase Privacy Policy for details.

We update CertGPS regularly to ensure certification costs, exam details, and requirements are current. App updates are released through the App Store and typically include:

- New AI-generated articles and study guides
- Performance improvements and bug fixes

Yes! You can filter certifications by:

CertGPS requires iOS 15.0 or later and works on iPhone and iPad. The app is optimized for the latest iOS versions and uses native SwiftUI for the best performance.
